Lots of MPG

After driving my new S2 about for the past 3 weeks, covering 700 miles, I have calculated (yes I know this is sad) that it is doing around 33mpg !!!! Amazing. My other car, MkI XR2 1600, only does 34mpg for the same commute run.
Ok, Ok, I am not being very heavy with the right foot, and most of the journey is motorway.
I guess this will change once I start dusting those tin tops.

For some reason, having just done a RideDrive day, my fuel consumption figures have gone right down, (whilst the number of cars I am finding I'm overtaking has gone right up).

I wonder if the two are related?

"Modified a little" this is a big understatement!! Petes car has just about everything uprated and like Keiran said his car is also a heavily modified 4.6 litre

3mpg will take some beating, even in Clarksons new GT40???

Hi Mike (I'm back, got rid of Max, that cousin of mine), I enjoyed my couple of days in Afganistan!

A friend of mine used to race an original GT40 about 7 years ago (probably still does tho haven't seen him since moving counties) and it had a very updated spec but what a car, he used to have a huge budget and half of that must have been for fuel, did about 10mpg IIRC.

I haven't measured accurately but I would guess my V6S returns around 20/25mpg on average. Driven hard sometimes for a bit of fun but gently on the whole (steady Podie)....
