Cheers, must admit that's my favourite shot... Described it 3 days ago whilst out for a walk without the camera... so shot it today..

Nice shots! I agree about #6, cool shot.

What lense are you using? I see you're using the 350D, but the shots seem a tiny bit soft? Do you shoot in RAW?

pinched a 70-250 canon L from one of the guys in the office... Unfortunately, botched things massively and shot everything at iso 800.. frown All shot in JPEG not RAW..

Oh yeah, compression for the web doesn't help either..

Good plan to get out of the office. Shame about the ISO error frown

I like 6 as above, perhaps a wee bit bright on my screen.

Great texture in the first shot.

really love 6 there slinky.

Hope you dont mind this quick 2 second edit but even if you shoot jpeg you cn still do stuf to reegain some detail (iso speed is not an issue on these cameras as they auto expose based on iso speed)

basically in PS duplicate the original layer then set blend to multiply then layed a gradient map again set to multiply, the grad map was then set to about 20% opacity. It hopefully hasnt lost the oringal image but has regained shaddow detail whilst maintaining the highlights

I just put that through babel fish, and it came back with "wibble"... Is there something wrong with my fish?
