Seems to have gone backl a step to before the Dame Edna period. Looks better in my opinion, but a little aged already...

Those mismatched rear lights look horrible, like they couldn't get the right size ones to fit the tailgate.

Horrible rear lights, dame edna front end, too many fussy lines/creases, silly/swoopy curves and creases .... back to the drawing board guys. Bring back the E46.

Nasty - even the new regulation friendly wing mirrors look too big and clumsy. The only thing I prefer over my "old" E91 is the front grille.

Do you guys think at the point when the new model is released there will be any current E91's available at big discounts? Or will BMW make sure they sell them off before?

I am thinking of getting a well spec'd 325d touring but hate the face lift model even if it does have ED technology...

Much prefer the back end to the current one, but the creases up the bonnet are a bit weird.

I would echo the guy above who said "Just make it look like the coupe!"

Doesn't look terribly different, worse in some ways and better in others (such as stance, rear end). Still don't like the 335i/335d exhausts which have the appearance of retractable wheelbarrow handles.

Err... lets not get too carried away on the E90. It does it's job, in that it's a well resolved, if a little plain, design that doesn't step on the toes of the E60 in style terms. And it's supposed to look less flash that the coupe, in order to flog coupes!

That said, I'm not wild about this facelift. I'd agree with the "too many lines" sentiments, it's all a bit busy. I'm especially cold on the front bumper, which looks like it was taken off a Mazda or similar riot of meaningless sagging curves.

Edit: I'm also not keen on the bonnet folds taken from the Z4M. They hint at squeezing 343bhp into the Z4, what are they hinting at in a 318i?

It looks like a step backwards for them. the rear lights are horrible, and the front looks weak.

Shame really.

Agreed. That ruins it for me. The rest of it is OK.
