OK, so this is on my shortlist for potential "next cars" - I just wondered if anyone who owns one can tell me what they are like to live with?

1. Average real-world fuel economy?
2. Servicing costs?
3. Long journey comfort? Excessive tyre roar?
4. Track day performance?
5. Build quality - rattles/squeeks?
6. Bose Stereo - any good?
7. Birdview sat nav - any good?
8. Depreciation?

Hold onto your money at the mo... Auto Express mag has an article mentioning that Nissan are dropping their prices on the 350Z in preparation for the new model. Good news for the purchaser as this should knock the second hand value of the 313's..

1. Average real-world fuel economy? On a run about 32mpg. Spirited driving about 15
2. Servicing costs? They vary a lot, in London a P1 should be around £250 supply your own oil.
3. Long journey comfort? Excessive tyre roar? I commute 350 miles and they are great.
4. Track day performance? Rear wheel drive and great fun.
5. Build quality - rattles/squeeks? Not bad but it is a Nissan. A few known issues.
6. Bose Stereo - any good? Skips with cold temps for a while
7. Birdview sat nav - any good? Very good, waiting 5 months for my replavement.
8. Depreciation? At the moment there are a lot of second hand cars going pretty cheap. Not too bad though.

Drop in here for all the info. Its free.

The roadster is about 80 kilos heavier than the coupe by the way.

when you say "it's a Nissan" re: build quality, do you mean its rattly? or just that its solid enough but plasticky?

My nissan ain't rattly at all, but it does have a faux aluminium centre console, which isn't great, but apart from that, great stuff.

Really enjoyed mine, stereo's good. Handles fantastic but to heavy for the track imho. MPG wasnt to bad i'd say 25-30 but spirited driving it will drink like most performance cars.
