Does anyone have any experience of this?. Seems to be quite durable from reviews I've read so I'm thinking of getting some. For what its worth I have a metallic silver A3 so want something to bring out the metallic in the paint.

I've used various Megs stuff but it never really gives enough 'pop' to the paint work confused

Cheers thumbup

Collinite is a hard wax to beat when it comes to durability

Yeah, thats a big bonus to be honest. The car gets cleaned once a week without fail but for whatever reason whatever I'm doing it never comes up as bright as I think it should.

Washed with Zymol car shampoo and a lambswool mitt (2 bucket method)
Dried using waffle towel
Stage 1 and 2 of the Megs 3 step system
Megs NXT on top followed by autoglym sealer

The NXT doesnt appear to offer a lot to be honest.

I give it a clay when it needs it but to be honest thats not very often due to the fact its cleaned once a week. The paints smooth and in perfect condition so am I wrong to be expecting a bit more?.

I'll give the collinite a go and see how I get on, or if anyone can spot anything wrong with what I'm doing feel free to put me right!. I'll try adding a few layers and see how it turns out.

Cheers

Autoglym sealer? Extra Gloss Protection?

I wonder if the NXT would give the EGP a decent base? I'd probably just skip it and use the EGP alone?

Collinite will give you an wonderfully durable wax and will make the rain bead beautifully. Put two coats on your car, a good few hours apart and the maybe something extra for a really wet look, ie P222 or Dodo Juice !!!

If you really want to spoil yourself get some Zaino z8 spray and top what ever you have done / going to do with that.
This stuff is crazy for the looks dept.

If you're looking more drama from your metallic flake, then carnauba waxes are not the answer unfortunately.
My choice would be Autobalm, Zaino Z2 (with or without ZFX cure accelerator) and Z8, Duragloss 601 under 111 or 105 or Track Klaw, or Optimum Optiseal V2.
Quick Detailers - Z6 for Zaino and DG Aquawax/Marine Detail for Duragloss for a quick once over after the weekly wash.

Lovely!. I've ordered the Collinite so I'll give it a whirl and get something to smear over the top of it.

Cheers!

This link shows water beading(sheating) after usings a few coats of activated
zanio left for a day! then the icing in the cake to make it bead is 2 coats of collinite 476s applied first thing and then late in the day to help curing in between coats enjoy. Ps Use the zanio to make it pop and only use small amount of collinite to make it bead!!

Well my order arrived this morning with a couple of extra microfibres and sonus application pads so I set about cleaning the car so I could put some on. Gave it a couple of coats and the Collinite is nice and easy to apply and buff off and a little goes a long way.

Great product, its given the paint a fantastic shine so the car looks really good now. There's some serious reflections going on at the moment!.

I got it from cleanyoucar.co.uk........fantastic price and a really fast delivery, top service.
