I kept getting the "something's not quite right" message each time I tried to submit my first ever PH advert last night. I eventually realised, through much trial and error, that it was simply due to my advert text being too long.

Hands up those who signed up for the "new ads system" beta test program? Oh, all of us?

Seriously, come on chaps, mishandling of smart quotes from MS Office is borderline forgivable, but classified ads that barf when a pound sign is used (and that should be picked up in the parser anyway and converted to &pound ; if for standards compliance purposes only) and worse still if an ad exceeds the field length? That is pretty poor IMHO. Surely all these issues are alread dealt with in the forum post parser anyway?
