Hi there,

Really enjoyed the Sunday Times supercar run at the Goodwood Festival of Speed yesterday.

Here are some pics of the various supercars as they headed up the hill. (Please click on each image to view the fullsize version)

Maserati Quattroporte S - not sure about the facelift though

Maserati Gran Turismo S

Ferrari 599 GTB

Bugatti Veyron - one of three at the show

Lamborghini LP560

Heres a few other selected supercars that may be of interest.

Mercedes McLaren SLR Roadster

Caparo T1

Aston Martin DBS

Aston Martin Vantage RS - fantastic car and should be pretty quick with the V12.

Alfa 8C

RUF CTR 3 - this was painted in a matt silver colour looked awesome

Mercedes SLR 722 GT

Hope you like the pics

Thank you for the pics.

What did the CTR sound like, was it loud?

What does he do with it?
Is there a race series or just a fun toy?

I thought it looked fantastic

Doug,

There is a dedicated "Gentleman" Race Series for SLR Owners which started this year. Sadly they won't be racing in the UK frown

He has done a number of races as well as his father too.

They have made a limited number of them-as you say it looks fantastic. I'll ask him if he can post up some of his pics of it.

Am I correct in thinking that the entire car is made at the AMG factory rather than in Woking?
