Power/Pressure Washing?
Discussion
I always power wash my bike, have done for years. It's much much easier than a bucket or soapy water.
However, powerwashing does effect the life of some components. Obviously it takes all lubrication off, so it always needs lube'd afterwards. You will also get water into all the bearings/bushes on the bike, so it will need stripped down, possible some bushes replaced, more often that it might otherwise.
It's a compromise. If you are happy to do the extra maintanance & the time saved by 50p at the jetwash on the way home is worthwhile (bike lives in the flat, so always gets washed on the way home), then go for it. If you pay a bikeshop to look after it then it might not be.
