Carbon Cans vs. Blue Flame Exhausts??

The Tuscan S I am collecting on Friday has a set of Blue Flame Exhausts. Should I get them changed to Carbon Cans or leave them? Does anyone have any experience of them? They are virtually new. Opinions gratefully received as I could get them changed if necessary in time for collection. Cheers.

I was not thinking of selling them unless there was general opinion they were rubbish. I did not really notice they were different until I went to a TVRCC meet yesterday and noticed that all the other Tuscans had Carbons.... no one really could tell me much about Blue Flames... and all the dealer said was they were an expensive £1,000 extra added by the previous owner.... I don’t know whether that’s true or not...

Most people go for the CCCs. I've heard a Tuscan with Blue Flames on and personally I didn't think it was as loud as the CCCs. Didn't seem to be giving out so many pops and bangs either.

I have got both. Sleeved carbon cans for normal use and standard blue flame for track. The blue flame are a lot quieter and hardly any pops and bangs.

I also have a set of both. I wanted the shark nose blue flame design but they've stopped those. The blueflames I've got have perforated tubes so are the same volume as standard. The cccs have no perforations and the difference in noise is enormous. I think my ideal noise would be somewhere in between!

Blueflame were reponsible for the standard factory cans which disintegrated after 1000 miles. So far the cccs have stood up well. The new set of blueflames appears to be better made but time will tell as they are the same design. So far ccc gets the nod for build quality.
