Are you a student or parent of a student?

Hey guys,
I've been involved in making this website and the book that will be along shortly!! Basically it's a recipe for student survival, so if you are about to go to uni, or are at uni but can't cook take a look!!!
Also if you son/daughter is about to head off to uni this summer, the book's a great way to stop you worrying about what they're eating!!! haha!
http://www.sortedstudents.com
Loads of hard work has gone into it, and we're basically looking for feedback, so any comments would be greatly appreciated!!
BTW, the videos are great...check out Citrus Cocktail!!
We got featured in the Guardian today as well in G2 magazine, pages 8-9!!!!

Cheers

personally i think its a bit pointless as you really do have to be a complete muppet to not be able to took after yourself at 18.
that said you're site looks slick and am impressed you have got a book in print and managed to get some press already. market it correctly and you shouldn't have to worry about paying back that student loan!
which really makes the book self fulfilling doesn't it?
good luck fella.

The site looks good. Only section I'd be slightly wary of is the drinking games section. Having dealt with several Universities and student Unions I'd say they will likely take a dim view of it. Our local Universities are trying to curtail excessive alcohol consumption and especially drink-driving - I only know this because I'm working on a drink-drive campaign with them.I've been involved in making this website and the book that will be along shortly!! What you need to do is get them to drink lots more, that way they won't be able to afford to run a car
I'm neither but I do live in a student area so can I make some suggestions?
Could you ask your readers to please refrain from throwing my wheelie bin around the street at night? Also the sport of 'rubbish bag football' should be avoided especially whilst shouting "naughty rubbish, bad rubbish"
If when knocking on a friends door in the early hours of the morning they do not answer within 20 minutes, its fair to say they are not in or do not want to see you, so stop knocking.
Lastly if you could stop pissing up against my front door because it does come under and mopping up your piss is not the ideal start to my sunday mornings.
Thanks.

What students actually do this? Doesn't seem to really happen at mine nor my girlfriend's, but everyone seems to hate students for these sorts of things.Could you ask your readers to please refrain from throwing my wheelie bin around the street at night? Site looks very good mate, wouldn't worry too much about the drinking games section, it's not the majority of students who have a problem with student drinking - it's just the odious do-gooders make a lot more noise than anyone else.
I'd make a big deal out of a section on what to do when moving out of hall, what to look for in a house, how to sort out what to do if one bedroom is a lot smaller, paying bills etc.

t in their faces and ears. It lasts hardly a week though, and you don't see them again until next grant cheque comes out.
