British Motor Show
The British International Motor Show kicks off next week and PH will be there...
Next week sees the opening of the British International Motor Show and of course PistonHeads will be there. This year we are supporting the AUTOGLYM Supercar Paddock which will have a selection of iconic metal both past and present.
Among the megabucks supercars there will be a Ferrari F40, Pagani Zonda and Jaguar XJ220 on display but there will also be some British giant-killers alongside them. The Farbio GTS400 will be making its global debut and the Ariel Atom V8 will also be making an appearance in the Supercar Paddock.
Elsewhere at the Motor Show there will be over 20 other world premieres. The first all-new Lotus will be on display, the mid-engined 2+2 that is codenamed ‘project Eagle’.
Ford will be unveiling its Focus RS and Vauxhall is launching its Insignia model. The SEAT Ibiza SportCoupé, new-look Land Rover Discovery and the Nissan Qashqai+2 are among other global firsts for the Show.
'We are thrilled to be hosting more than 20 genuine global premieres, reinforcing the prominence of the Show in the automotive world,’ said Kirsty Perkinson, marketing director for the Motor Show. ‘Ours is by far the biggest motoring event in the UK, and it is certainly the only place where the public will see so many genuine, high-calibre world firsts – the mark of a major international show.'
The show takes place from 23 July to 3 August at ExCeL, London, and tickets for the show are available through its website at www.britishmotorshow.co.uk or by calling 0871 230 5588.
Will I get a free PH trustybug?
I'm going on the 30th, I think.
