Recommendations for books on wedding photography?
Discussion
Don't worry, it's just me being independent. I try not to trot out the same hackneyed shots that most wedding togs seem to. 'Group 1, Group 2, hold hands and turn to face camera...'. I prefer spontaneity and humanity with composition and technical correctness beneath - 360-degree awareness and quiet speed. I like to find the shots rather than line people up and get them to act. I'd rather learn and make my own mistakes than copy someone else. It's just the way I am.
But I agree inspiration can be good too

For a slightly different take on the formal slant of Wedding Photography (and portraiture in general) you could do worse than looking at:
Annabel Williams Book of Wedding and Portrait Photography. ISBN 2-88046-779-9
The Art of Wedding Photography. ISBN 0-8174-3325-2 was also not bad
Not really my cup of tea but found both books useful background reading and Annabel Williams in particular has a nice style.
