Big thumbs up from me. Obviously know TVR's inside out from the questions I was asked and the value I asked for as an agreed value. Sensible excess and a sensible price.

Just be aware on the small print regarding the agreed value..... you need to send them pics of the car and its garage to their satisfaction ?? within 30 days of taking the policy out to be eligable for this.....

Yes - and not hard to manage is it

I sent in a load of the car and a couple of the garage and they were happy. Just renewed in fact as they were still by far the best.

It's not too much to expect from the insurance company,i feel.You have to consider that this is there way of being sure your not trying to insure something for much more than it's true value.I bet there are a few that try this,then have is 'stolen' or it 'catches fire'!!

Got the pack from Hagerty today and you can email them the photos. Think what I will do is take so real high quality shots with DSLR with a copy of that days paper in each of the pics so that's its obvious the condition of the car is as it is now rather than a picture from a few years ago.

No not hard at all i guess...... but i dont count reading every document sent to me as a pleasure,i had the phone call to set out all the details,took out the insurance and that was that.... i then read the documents by chance 3 weeks later,my fault totally for not seeing the need before.... a mention in the phone conversation would be nice,but there you go,thats just me.... took the snaps and sent them off.
Just thought id mention it in case anyone else is as daft as i am

Otherwise totally happy with Hagerty from the word go,very refreshing to actually speak to someone (and from the comments on here they all sound the same) who actually know what they are talking about ref the cars
