Having just returned from a terrific Classic Le Mans, a few of us are now looking for a destination on the alternate years. Spa comes to mind, but has anyone been anywhere interesting we can make for next year? Preferably with a 'classic' theme.

The Old Timer Grand Prix at Nurburgring,I,e been twice and it was brilliant....err I mean rubbish.

The Jim Clark Revival meeting at Hockenheim, is my choice for next year, around April time!

Maybe, just maybe, a group of us who've been sooooo disappointed with the utterly crap LM Classic . . . . can get together and organise a trip to Spa / Nurburgring etc. Hopefully to discover that they are equally crap. Any chance we'll find a bar as crappy and uninteresting as the gaot bar at Arnage? Terrible place, especially Sunday evening. Rumour did have it of a young lady flashing her mamary appendages at the Dutch Healey bar in the early hours of Monday morning. I was there but missed it! Terrible place . . . . . . . . . .

Crikey, I thought Lord march worked wonders to revive the old Goodwood motor racing circuit but the Jim Clarke Revival should be a blooming miracle!

April, Hockenheim, you wouldn't normally choose to go camping there and then though would you. Mid July in mid France is still very iffy, let alone 3 months earlier in Germany. Next choice?

The Old Timer GrandPrix at Nurburgring is held on the 2nd weekend of August and the weather is very

unpredictable even then, still a great venue rain or shine. I would be up for Spa !
