Cheap mechanic please

I need a mechanic/garage who is good and cheap to do an engine and suspension swap for my Mk1 MR2.

Anybody know anyone around the Colchester way?

The car is only worth 900 squids (trackcar)so therefore not too keen to spend too much on labour. Unfortunately all things mechanical short of changing the wheel is beyond DIY for me.

Concur with Simpo's comments re Manningtree Tyres.

Andy at SpecialScoobys (just off Gosbecks Rd, Colchester) also comes highly recommended. Although he's a Subaru specialist he also has extensive experience with other marques, and is something of an expert on engine & suspension swaps/upgrades.

I've only ever had superb service from him and he doesn't charge the earth either. Tell him that James (with the blue Forester STi) sent you and I'm sure he'll do his best to help you out.
