PHEA Monthly meet Sunday 27th July
Discussion
Only a week and a bit to go until the next monthly gathering so I,d better get things sorted !
Its back to The Metcalfe Arms in Hawstead just South of Bury St Edmunds again.
Map here
We are booked in for 1.00pm as normal so suggest that we aim to meet at 12.30pm.
If your coming along please let me know on this thread or drop me an email through my profile, as I would like to get Nigel and Anne a good idea of numbers to help them out. I will be speaking to them again mid next week.
I may not get to this one as the Silverstone Classic is looking very tempting.

Hi Ian,
Hope you are well, have your message from yesterday, tried to call back but no reply. Unfortunately we are presently experiencing some financial difficulties and as such are not presently trading. We are in negotiation we our landlord and will let you know shortly of the outcome.
Sorry to let you down at such short notice but hope you can sort out an alternative venue.
Thank you for your support, speak to you again soon.
best regards
Nigel.
With this in mind myself and John feel that there is no option but to cancel this months meeting. We will obviously keep in touch the the pub in the hope that the issues can be resolved before or next meet, which will be at the end of September (Stamford show at end of August).Hope you are well, have your message from yesterday, tried to call back but no reply. Hi John,
Sad news about Sunday but how about this as an idea.
I have a large garden, plenty of parking and a big BBQ
If some members are up for a get together put some sussages/burgers and drinks in the back of the car and come to mine I can cook.
I only live about 8 miles from the metcalf arms, so location is almost the same.
We could arrive around 1pm for an afternoon in the garden and some good home burnt burgers
Let me know or give me a call, pass it past Ian
Regards
Patrick
P.S I know Darren's a mean man with the BBQ tools
