This coming weekend on Saturday 19th July at Aylesbury town Centre between 10.00 and 1600, there is a joint promotion of Motorcycling by Roads Polcing, Berks County Council and the Bucks Motorcylce forum. This is about responsible use of motorcycling

The event will be supported by local industry, professional instruction organisations such as the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists and professional road and track schools.

There will also be input by Fire and Ambulance services. A display of vintage motorcylces will be at the promotion.

This is aimed at those who are interested in starting to use motorcylces or for those who are experienced and want to develop their skills further.

Slider.

Sadly no. Have yet another abstraction to cover the needs of what was sold to us as an apparently self sufficient custody department from 07-16!!!

I was there in 1983- 1988 when I went on traffic between those dates. Its changed a bit since then!
My good mate is there now 'Harper of the yard'. I was at TT with him during the early 90's when I transferred to help with M25 issues from TM.

Christ, Harper is one of the skippers but not mine!

You may well have known my driving instructor then from the Kerns school of motoring. If that makes sense.

I havent been on that long but even in the short time its changed alot.

I know the Kerns school of motoring. He was a crew mate at TT! Most anal bloke I have ever met apart from myself on vehicle cleanliness (of course its next to godlinesswink)God help anyone who left our 24V Senator without the floor wells being hoovered out biggrin. He also did an advanced refresher day for me last July so I could maintain my ticket.

Not sure who you mean about 'the carrot' though!

Yes he did my advanced course a few weeks ago, and yes he was very anal about the cleanlyness of the car, such as in the final week after the crosscheck (with a hangover) we had to clean the car a few times to meet his standards (even the engine bay!). Bloody good instructor though, told tales of the washing of cars at TT and the chap with the White glove!

I dont know any other polite names he's known by (the carrot). Region 2 insp.
