I'm looking for a fairly standard Monaro (not yellow sorry) PLUS £5000
to swap for my very modified supercharged Monaro
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/600791.htm
For anyone about to go down the modification road this is a no brainer......
For £5000 you get the monkfish "the whole bl**dy lot pac"
Anyone interested.....
Regards

Why the swap to standard?
Why not "break for parts" and return to standard?
Surely you'd get more than £5k for parts?
PS bagsy the S/C!

I haven't got the old bits....but its an idea.
I suppose anyone buying my bits would have standard bits to swap
It seems a shame after all the effort Tiler put in getting it to this standard
I'll have to chat to monkfish.....

Don't split it for parts frown It would be such a waste. I'm sure you'll get more for it as a whole in the end - just a terrible time to be selling anything!

We are trying to sell my wife's gran's house at the moment and it's a nightmare. The irony being if we could sell it, I would be on the M1 to see you the next bloody day! cloud9

As I understand it alot of the cost with the extra's such as SC is labour in setting it all up and tuning it to work properly isn't it? On that basis would selling the parts alone make you the cash difference back?

Good luck with whatever you decide - I dont mean to sound preachy smile

Yeh I think you are right, the only person to do well out of stripping it down would be Roger !!

why go back to standard after spending so much?

I didn't spend the money, this was "Tilers" old car - he did it all except the scan gauges and the bonnet

I take it you have driven a standard car? It will seem sooooo slow by comparison.
