About how much to re-spray a 5 series bonnet?

The bonnet on my 1998 5 series has deteriorated quite badly (multiple fine scratches and some major cracked areas). So I have decided to get it re-sprayed, as the rest of the car is fine.

Given the car is probably only worth £3-5k, how much should i budget for getting a re-spray?

Can't you find a scrapped car with the same colour and swap? Will cost a few £100's otherwise.

I bought a badly stone chipped E39 3 years ago. Had bonnet and wings resprayed at the same bodyshop the local BMW main dealers sub their work to.
Cost me £500 + VAT
