Was a real hotty that day (day after Santa Pod) so speeds not good. Most at least 10-15 mph off usual.

I did a 176 and Roger a 175 and I think we were both in the top 15 ( out of 40ish runners)

Sophie managed a 142 in her Astra which I think is the best bang for buck out the box you can buy new.

I'd defo be up for that. Stiggy yours aint standard anymore. This (again) may be a stupid question but do you still reduce tyre pressure on one of these days as you would on the 1/4 for traction. Would our standard CV8 handle the corners well and Traction on or off

running standard psi shouldnt be problem as its a totally different game to 1/4 mile. Traction on or off again should be down to your choice as its also down to how much speed you can carry out of the bend. I loved the 911 drifting but even he eventually cooked it and went for a bit of a trip in the grass!

The one that came close to the camera and was rewound.
At a guess I`d say he was doing 80 as he fell off so there`s always the chance for damage.
With regard to tyre pressures, always run std... You`ll be doing upward of 150mph at the end of the runway so you really don`t want squidgy tyres.
Turn TC off as it has a habit of unsettling the car in the corners ( not that there are many. but Soph made me practically kak myself when she took me out in her Astra, nothing to do with TC, she`s just a bit scary.)

Oh i see which one you meen. Oh i guess that your aloud to take someone round with you then. Dont surpose there would be a chance of going around one with you Jez so as i can feel the power as a comparison to our stock CV8. As regards to Soph making you kak your pants i would possibly be able to understand your fear if you took me round

Jez did'nt you mention possibly organising a day for us? I recon there would be enough interest from us on here. Col would be up for it to. I surpose thinking about it it would effect the speed having someone with you. Is that why you cant take passengers at Santa Pod? Or maybe its insurance reasons.
