OK, bit of a dilemma and I need someone to talk me either into or out of this idea!

For those that haven't seen one before, a Bugxter is a road-legal quadricycle that is allowed on the road due to some European laws. Here's a photo:

Our company is a technology one and hence has lots of young male staff in it. It's fairly typical for companies to do cool things, like having a Nintendo Wii for people to relax on, pool table, etc. At the moment we have got two offices and have a pool car and a pool van, one at either. Everyone can drive these. The two sites are about 2 miles apart, so people have to go between them reasonably often.

I'm thinking about getting one of these buggies as a completely impractical but cheap/fun way for staff to get between the two sites. Obviously there's no windscreen, so we'd provide helmets and goggles for people. My question is, why should and shouldn't I do this? Should I be concerned about personal injury claims? Will people drive it like c*cks and get a bad rep for the company?

I need you lot to talk me into or out of this!

Yep, during the winter I have no doubt it will sit unused in the warehouse. More than 70% of our staff are male and 18-30, so we are the perfect demographic for this kind of 'toy'.
