Fuel Leak

Hi I have a 1989 635 Highline, if I fill with fuel it pours out underneath I think its from the filler pipe. the pipe from the cap to the tank! Does anyone know what its made of? are they re-placeable? is it an easy job? Where can I get one? How much? Just a couple of Questions for you LOL! Thanks

From this it would appear that the filler neck is part of the tank, but not 100% sure.

May not be of help but I recently had this on my 05 320. There is a breather and it was somehow dislodged. when full it would drip fuel, especially if parked up hill.

The bad news, if it is this fault, is that the tank had to be dropped. two days to get car back, but warranty for me.
