cant view my advert ? ?

Mayed a new advert but cant view it in the cars forsale section ? have i done something wrong ? It was created about 3.5 hours ago but its still not working? It does say its gone live to but i cant see it in the westfield section?

We have just launched a new classified system featuring two levels of advert, standard adverts and premium adverts.
Premium adverts cost £7 and feature 9 pictures and placement at the top of the listings.
Standard adverts are free, but are placed after all the premium and dealer adverts in the listings. This will include any ordering you do to the adverts, for example price where the standard adverts will appear out of order.
In addition to the two categories, we also still have some old adverts on the site which were submitted before new system went live on the 3rd of July. These adverts are being treated as premium advert until they expire (which will be within 30 days).
All of this means that if you have recently submitted a standard advert then it is likely to appear several pages back in the listings, especially in a busy category which still contains a lot of old system adverts. As the old adverts expire this will balance out, but in the mean time your advert can be easily found by using either the advanced search or filter tools. Alternatively, you can upgrade your advert for just £7 which will allow you to add 6 more pictures and will bump your advert right to the top of the list.

To be honest, that's only half the answer... Even though I have paid for a premium advert, it's not always visible. Every so often it disappears from the 'advert age' or 'by price' listings (although searching for it using the filter will find it). Strangely, I can hit refresh a few times and it will appear for a while... Then it goes again.
After paying £7 to get it there, I'm not too happy about the fact that there is a good chance no one has actually seen it. It's bad enough that with the new system, any private ads are now buried in a mountain of dealer listings but to then have your ad randomly disappearing from the site just isn't acceptable.
When it is visible, my car seems to move up and down the listings, suggesting that the same thing is happening to adverts above mine... So if your ad isn't visible you may be suffering from the same problem.

The classified pages are based on a cacheing system. This means that a copy of the page at a specific time is saved and then displayed for the next hour. Which minute in the hour period that the page is updated can change across different internet providers so if you look at home then at work this can show different listings depending on which one is more up to date.
This also means that when first adding an advert it can take up to an hour for it to appear in the classifieds.
This could explain why you feel the advert changes order in the listings.
