Sensible answer - speak to Roger at Monkfish as you need to use a mixture to get the diff to work properly, nothing to difficult just the addition of some friction modifier IIRC.

I run Redine Heavy Shock proof oil and add friction modifier till I get to a level where the diff locks up when I want it to and does not make too much noise.

I've got the Redline "bright blue" stuff from Monkfish (12 months old 8000 miles) with 1.5 bottles of friction modifyer (with a Harrop diff cover) but its started making a lot of noise of late.
I found the old half bottle of modifyer yesterday afteroon after posting on here so chucked it in -> all is well again !!!!
How do you know when it "locks up" and when should I want it to lock up ??????

Find a nice piece of quiet road, pull up. From rest bury the loud pedal. Go back to your starting point and inspect the tarmac. One black stripe = not enough modifier. Two black stripes= enough. No black lines, get off this forum.;)
