Diablo. Does anyone know this car?

Looks quite interesting.
Why though, in and advert with 3 photos, are they all from virtually the same angle.
I want to see the front, side and interior as well, plus the engine bay, wheels etc.
Rant over. Does anyone know much about the car?

Don't know anything about the car, but that is definitely the worst Diablo plate I have ever seen.
Followed very closely by D14 GLO, D14 RLO and D14 BLC. All featured on PHs.Shame really. A car of that calibre needs a plate of the same class. These mickey mouse plates make a great car look cheap IMHO.
Everyone to there own though.
The number plate 'issue' aside, I'd recommend doing as the owner has said and contacting Mike Pullen!
Even from those lack-of-variety angles, it looks a good example - the 530bhp cars are the best of the pre-6.0 Diablos imho, (same bhp as the SE30 actually give or take the odd cross pony or two)...
Those pop-up lamps v. the glass lamps are a matter of taste and also availability - the glass lamps were only used on the later 5.7s and the 6.0s and are by far the rarer format.
Whilst I think Scuro Blue is a great colour for just about any Lamborghini, I think the vendor is pushing it a bit to say that the interior is the same as the exterior...
Definitely worth a closer gander for that money though, Diablo prices will start chasing Miura and Countach prices very, very soon!
(ps you could always get a really descriptive and unique number plate, something like R824 LND or N763 MPL even P773 HLR - coo!! wow!!)
(pps that's me being a sarcastic git that was - Lamborghinis need 'special' plates like a hole in the cylinder heads, again, imho...)

I've never understood why people do that. Sometimes when looking for properties on RightMove there'll be three photos of the kitchen, all from slightly different angles, and no images of any other part of the house. Stupid.blooma said:
£55k for a repaired SV seems all the money to me.
Also there was a yellow SV that sold on Auto Trader last month for a lot less than that. It was bought needing a tidy up IIRC, but was mechanically good.
I bought the car which you are talking about. Don't beleive everything you hear. Also there was a yellow SV that sold on Auto Trader last month for a lot less than that. It was bought needing a tidy up IIRC, but was mechanically good.
Much of what people say on here is subjective nonsense.

My cars don't look cheap.
Hello there Pete. Hope you are well.
I've already fallen out with you and made up again, so I will tread carefully here this time.
At the time that you bought the yellow SV from Auto Trader, I rang up too late, but was told that you managed to bag the car for less than £40k because it was needing the bodywork tidying plus some servicing.
Just shows you that there are some cheap Diablos out there I suppose.
Knowing how well you have restored your Roadster, I would imagine you probably have the SV in the paintshop as we speak.
Pictures please Pete.

The SV is one of the best driver's cars when it comes to the Diablo fraternity.
I know Pete very well and have driven his yellow SV.
I can confirm that it is a lovely car to drive. Condition wise, Pete bargained down the price with the seller because the car had a couple of repairable dents, some localised bubbling of the paint in several places (aluminium alloy reaction) and had not had a service for a while, as it was garaged for a few years.
Believe me, when Pete gets it back from the paint shop, it will be up there with the best.
Getting back on topic, I asked about the SV in the advert too. I was told that it had had a crunch a few years ago and has now been repaired, albeit with an aftermarket SE30 type replica fron end. Perhaps, that's why there are no photos of the front.
Even so, at £55k, with a bit of haggling £50k would still seem to be a fair price for an SV. Standard bits or not!

If it's an SV you are looking for, this one looks good (wheels aside) and just 22k miles. You could probably get the price down with a bit of haggling.

Good to hear from you. Sorry that I beat you to the car, but I had been watching it closely and hit the floor running when reduced to £55K. It had only been on the market for 1 week advertised at £65K. Think the sub 40K was just bit of teasing (done that before myself after selling before). He wouldn't have dropped it 25K in one week (the car was worth 55K any day).
The car is perfect apart from a service (now done), alloy wheel refurb (now done) and some paint (going in next week hopefully).
Mind the sale price is often way off what the car costs once its mint (if done without compromise). As was mentioned by Pompey blue the other day, spent over 35K on the roadster so far.
Can't wait to show my SV, I love it. Pop down the A3 in a couple of weeks.
Pete
