new shape 325i, 330i....any recommendations

I recently test drove a 325i and was impressed by the overall package. I can see that second hand ones are available on autotrader starting at the 10k mark. Does anyone here own one? i am interested in finding out what ownership is like in terms of cost,maintenance, reliability, economy etc. I've also seen that there isn't much of a price difference on the used market between the 325i and 330i...any thoughts on this model? which one would you go for?

Having just picked up a 325i Msport last week I can highly recommend one of them aswell. It is a bit of a buyers market for these cars just now so there is plenty of choice and good deals to be had.

Thanks for the comments so far. What do people think of the new 320i SE. I have read a few reviews on various car sites and they all seem very positive.

Having done a bit more research, I may be inclined to go for one of these given the better fuel economy...any thoughts.

Couldn't agree more, the 320i has very little torque and a rough engine compared with the 330i also in the real world your likely to get 34mpg from the 4 pot and around 28mpg from the 6 pot and as above this really isn't much difference in the scheme of things.

so 330i it is, what would be a realistic price for a 05 model, 40k on the clock, with leather seats?
