real life mpg from a 3.0i X3 ?

I've found one for the wife and it looks like a bargain but can anyone tell me what mpg they get from theirs ?

Its an Auto 04 if that makes a difference .

We used to get an average of 24, though you can do 28/29 on a steady run and more if you're really frugal, but don't think we saw more than 32 ever. They're all auto only and it's not a great auto box IMHO.

Great fun car I thought, but ultimately it was the economy/depreciation that made me swap to an E60 530d.

Its £12000 before i even negotiate. 37000 miles on a 04, Nav/Phone ,Stero Upgrade , Leather and a few more options. Seems a lot of car for the money .

If economy worries you then a diesel is achieveable for not much more. If not and you do less than 10k miles a year just spend the difference on fuel.

My mum looked at the 3.0i earlier in the year as they are crazy value, and the ones we looked at were all showing an average mpg in the low 20s. She eventually managed to get a 3.0d for £17k with 30k miles on the clock which she much prefers, and gets about 30mpg on average.

We just offered 10k on an 04 plate on 50k
Think they are going for it.
