Can anyone tell me where/how to get a good priced Delco Optispark for my 95 Z28? It had a new one fitted in Feb which has gone down & I need a replacement asap. I have been told to go for the Delco as they are more reliable.
Thanks for any help!

I would recommend going with an MSD set up, they are much improved over the G.M. Optispark. MSD won't save you any money now ($ 540.75 USD from MSD) but should over time.

Anyone got any opinions about these? Seem cheap but that may not be everything.

I replaced my optispark with an MSD unit but I suggest ordering your parts via WASP (Wisbech American Street & Performance) in the UK. Call Chris Goodale on 01945 588091 and tell you that Binky from American Car World sent you. His prices are very good and often has service parts in stock that he can ship for next day delivery, otherwise he'll get stuff in within a week if it has to come from the US.

I think the MSD unit is better than the Delco part.
The other benefit about using a UK supplier is that it is easier to send parts back if they don't fit or something. Ordering off some guy on eBay the other side of the world has plenty of risks even if it is cheaper!

Thanks for the information, I will give them a ring in the morning. I am also considering a four coil pack as I am told this is a more permanent solution to the problem. Any info on this conversion would also be very useful.
