Would i be able to trace my first Mini?

As per title really would I be able to find out if my first mini is still alive and where he is?

Reg no was A98 OBH and he was a 998cc mini mayfair in brown (log book said maroon) last seen moving to somewhere in co Durham in 1998. A long shot I know but he answers to the name Bob.
