TomTom updates

As the new owner of a TomTom One V3 I used the Report button to mark two sites where mobile speed cameras operate locally. The I connected it to the PC and used Tom Tom Home to update. Next time I went past the sites there was no wanring. How long does it take to update, or do they send out people to check the data? The same happened with a roundabout, which has been there for 20+ years but is shown as a triangle of raods.
