Hmmm nice pics. Very glad to see a rather shiny Z1 there.

I have to say, I don't 'get' concours.
I quite like having a clean car. Often when I've given it a spruce up, I look at it and think it looks so nice, I just have to get in and drive it!

Competitive car cleaning is just soo...
I find it's rather like dog and cat shows.

It's the sort of car owner activity that I don't understand, but am glad that other people do; as it gives me an opportunity to see some really beautiful cars in amazing condition.

I agree with you - I own an E30 M3 Evo that's a great example of that model and I took it to the show. I got marked down because the engine bay was not shiny, wear marks on seats etc etc - do I care? No

I just enjoyed the day and my car daily.
