I don't even know what you are talking about.

Weren't the white sidewalls just painted on? (with special paint)

You can buy the paint. I'm also sure I saw some white rubber stick on bits once, can't remember where though.

Dad has a set of those on his car - I'll email him and ask where they came from for you. Don't use the paint, it's ste. IIRC The trims do need the tyres deflating and maybe popping off the bead to fit - I'll check at the same time.

Dad thinks they came from Europa car spares, and they are fitted by deflating the tyres and inserting the whitewall between the tyre and the bead of the wheel.

He also said it is essential to use silicon grease between the outer edge of the tyre trim and the tyre, or the trim will wear a ridge in the tyre!
