Chateau Run - The only S to take part!

I thought I would share my images I took this weekend - with all of you 'S' lovers!
Went on the Chateau Run (See Events page) 7 Lambos, 3 TVR's and 1 Porsche. The trip was just out of this world despite, my 'little' S being dwarfed! I was made totally welcome and certainly would go on another next year. I have to say the highlight for me was surrounded by six Lambos in formation on the M20. (Five in front and one behind) What an unbeliveable sight!.
And you thought TVR's made noise, I couldn't hear my engine, and yes I did have it switched on!!!

Trust me! It was the most fun I had in ages, Whether you owned a Lambo or a TVR everybody was wonderful. Truly a great weekend. Keep your eyes open this time next year, bound to be another! Comes highly recommended. As for mileage, only about 400 miles it was only just down the road from Calais. like it says on the tin, it was a Chateau Run, eating, drinking (well for those not driving!) and driving hence the meals were in different Chateaus over the weekend.

Hi Orophin- As I said just down the road (30 mins) from Calais, nr. St Omer, Comes highly recommended. For future trips keep your eyes peeled in the 'events' pages. As I said, being sandwiched in by six Lambos on the M20 was a great experience that DOES NOT often happen!Top set of pics! Looks like a great trip and the S certainly doesn't look out of place amongst the other exotica.
Although some say the S's are not really built for long distance / GT type drives I love taking mine through the chunnel with a group of other likeminded cars & mates

Top man for that remark!!! Who says the 'S's can't hack long distances? (Tell'em to Fox-trot Oscar!) Last year I took the old girl to the west coast of France, covered 1500 miles and apart from petrol, used half a pint of water. And as regards to this weekend's 400 miles trip, yes I could keep up with the Lambos despite me 'only' having a V6!Although some say the S's are not really built for long distance / GT type drives I love taking mine through the chunnel with a group of other likeminded cars & mates

A great experience, and a great set of guys, never met them before and made me and the car totally welcome! What a trip!
