AJP Clutch with Clev Trev Slave Cylinder - any experiences?
Discussion
I upgraded the cylinder on my Sagaris - the existing one started to leak at 9000 miles (3 years old). A standard AJP clutch assembly was fitted with the cylinder.
My old clutch was in good order after 9000 miles, but it seemed a false economy to open up the box and not swap. The 9000 miles has been mostly track work, sprints and hillclimbs on soft rubber.;)
My other reason for going the standard clutch route is I've had only good service form AJP clutches (in TVRs) and I'm not one for using after market parts unless they have a very impressive track record - sadly the race proven clutch does not have this.

The report I got back was that the CT slave was more durable than the OE item, so I went with it and bought one. The service from CT was good with the part delivered promptly so it could be fitted just before I went to Classic LM. It's too early for me to say whether it is more durable than the OE slave yet - ask me in 10k miles time!
Steve.
P.S. My clutch has so far done 24k so far and was in good order when inspected. I wish slaves were this durable, they seem to manage 10k and die!

Thought they were all twin plate on the AJP and S6.
