I am not so sure of that one, I am sure the Boss Cerb left the factory in Feb of 2004... also another did just before it? Maybe 2 for 2004?

The Boss left the factory in Feb 2005 not 2004.

2004: A few
2005: One - Boss Cerbera
2006: One - Last Cerbera biggrin

Apparently, there were 1996 built in total, but I doubt anyone can actually prove this.

There were a couple. Mine was built 04, just in time for Le Mans.

Did you spec that front badge or did the factory do it?

I was going to buy the last white Cerb but just did not like the colour.

That spectraflair silver one at the Motorshow is mine... 4.5LW registered 09/2004 (Reg: GX54 ***). As far as i know it's also 'one of the latest'. (apart from 'Last Cerbera' auctioned and hence registered 2006 in pepercorn white- personally still prefer mine!..oops)biggrin

Hi Don

Just out of interest, where did you source the figures from? Your total comes to 1490 a full 506 short of the 1996 figure that's been banded around for a few years.

Simon

From Ben Lang - ex TVR. He provided the figures to Land Transport NZ (our DVLA) as evidence of production numbers.

I watched the last last one roll off the line and was decidedly undecided about Pepper White. Striking though.
I must confess to being undecided when I first saw the pictures, but to most people who see it in the flesh all polished up it looks fantastic (well to me anyway cloud9). To be fair, if it's not polished up or a bit dirty, it doesn't look at it's best, but thankfully it is valetted most weeks. Although a touch of detailing is definitely on the cards at some point.

Still, all of this doesn't really matter, because it looks more and more likely that it will always remain THE Last Cerberawoohoo

Interestingly though, regarding colour, Smellyski could be credited with helping to re-start white cars becoming fashionable again, as since the Cerb it seems like a load of the big hitters are launching new cars in white: Lambo Gallardo Spyder, LP640, Zonda Ltd Edition, Audi R8 V12 Tdi concept, VW Scirocco, etc, etc.

True. Hence quote: 'one of the latest' (of the 4.5lw variety anyway).
Saw yours at Rockingham - A beautiful example, and being the very last also very special. Well done! Personally any colour Cerb looks fantastic. (Note; haven't seen many 'peppercorn white' Fezzas / lambo's etc though').smile
