Free Premium Ads?

Hey guys,

I read when you started offering premium ads that they would be free for existing members. However, I'm a bit unsure whether I qualify for that or not...

I've been a member on the forums since September 2005 - however, when I try and log into the classified system it apparently uses a different database as my forum member details didn't work. I also sold a car via Pistonheads in early 2005, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't need a classified ad account then.

Have I missed out on getting free premium ads due to not creating a classified ad account in the correct timescale, or is there some way to link my classified ad account with my forum account?

Not particularly concerned as it's still worth £7 to me, but free would be even better

The free accounts apply to forum members only, and not anyone that submitted an advert in the past.

The new advert account is needed to capture more data for fraud and payment details so is a new addition with the launch of the premium adverts, and thus wasn't there back in 2005.

The system works by matching your email address with the details in the forum members account, so you will need to signup with the same email address you use in the forums for it to recognise you as an existing member and to qualify for the the free adverts.
