Hi
Well I thought I had all the bits I needed to rebuild the rear of my car. But I am missing (As per parts manual) Spacer Rubber, lower differantial mounting. part num 025R010A X 2
These are in fact bushes which sit in holes in the rear of the chassis so the diff cradled can be bolted to the chassis.
Has any one got two? Or any one any idea were I can get them. RT Racing have sent me a couple of bushes but they are to small!

Regards
Andy

I can't remeber what they look like, but if they are flat washer-like bushes you could make something up by cutting up an old car tyre. I did this once to make packing rubber for the chassis/tub.

I once did something similar Adam, with a rubber bathroom doorstop thingy. lasted for ages infact if the car is still going it will probably still be on it.

Hmmm - they sound similar to gearbox mounts. Are they hollow or do they have end-mounted bolts? Or - do you mean the aly diff cradle, it has a couple of bushes at either end, where bolts go through to the chassis?

Thanks for your reply and comments!

If you have Steve Heaths bible, on page 185 you have a lined drawing of the diff etc. The cradle at the bottom has a U section. Just above this U section is an example of the bush. There are two in fact. These fit in a section of the chassis, the cradle then attache's to the chassis via bolts which go through the out side of the cradle through the bush's and then through the other side of the cradle.
I had to remove the originals so the chassis could be sand blasted and then re powder coated and the originals were destroyed doing this!

P.S I will have pics on a lap top to show any body at BBWF!
