anyone know if the dashboard ecu in the t350 is uniques to the t350?...can a tuscan dash ecu be used?

If you have Sprint, I suggest you ask Cath (phone number in Sprint) who has set up her own company - she used to build the electrics at the factory.

Unfortunatley I dont have sprint, but I intend to join as soon i have the vehicle which will be in 2 weeks! when i get back from hols...yay!!
It has a prob with the dash ecu, mainly it hasnt got one...hehe
Anyway as a future tvr owner it would be a real help if i could speak to the said woman about the ecu and hopefully get a replacement.
I had one sourced but it was sold before i committed to buy the vehicle.

When you say the dash ECU, what are the symptoms.... do you mean the LCD is all shot? as it might just be the LCD and if so, TVR Power do new dash LCD PCB's which are the same for Tamora, T350, Sag, etc.

Failing that, Cath's number is 01253 595250/07894 714973 (C M Electricals).

the vehicle dosnt have a dash ecu it was stolen along with the engine ecu.

I think the ECUs are interchangeable as we had a dash ECU from a Tamora in our T350 when it went t*ts up and had to be sent for repair. On startup, it came up with Tamora instead of T350 which we found quite novel at the time!

Perhaps mine was changed over at some point then as it also comes up with Tamora on power up (it's a T350C).

They all come up with Tamora don't they. I didn't think they would ever have come up with T350 in the first place, as the software would have been written for the Tamora, and seeing as the T350 uses the same one, they wouldn't bother changing the startup name for the T350s.

You can probably change what it says at startup if you can get into the code of the software. Don't think my dad would let me do it on his T350,

spoke to Cath last week and she put tme in touch with a bloke called Paul who is having one made for me as multipart dont seem to be supplying or are about to supply the part apparantly. Anyway they are the same for the tam and 350 so no issues there....just 2 weeks to wait....Yay!
