Picked my car up from Jules (Trackcar) today. A bit of a fighting torque check up.
Well I didn't have any fun with sports bikes, nor did I have any 7000rpm moments.

I am thrashing myself with a cane as I write this, Mosely style.
I tested out the mpg, driving on the M1 at rush hour you may as well just chill out and hit lane 1.

Here's the figures, car brimmed petrol sitting in top of filler neck.
After 106.9 miles of only motorway driving no more than 3000rpm mostly 2000, which is about 60 to 70mph with the cr box in top, I brimmed it again, same as before fuel sitting in filler neck. Well only 15.66 litres, which is 3.44472 gallons, so that's 31.033 Mpg.

I was shocked, I guess it shows just how well Jule's set it up, he's the man.
Another thing I noticed. People are certainly driving to conserve fuel. At eighty you're overtaking 70% of the traffic. At one hundred, you stick out like a sore thumb.

I had the performance box plugged in, measured it with the gps externaly mounted. 172038.87m
As I mentioned I didn't gun it once, the most sedate of drives.
Plus, just set up, trust me I worked with/watched Jules on monday, he knows Cerbs inside out, a mine of info. It wasn't going to happen in one day.
So today I picked it up, since it was rush hour I thought i would test it out.

I had a duff lamba a while ago, the overfueling was crazy. I mentioned in an earlier thread, smelling as if you had just carried out an arson attack, well that's gone. I nearly convinced myselfe that they all do that, they don't.
A well set up Cerb is a Jeckle and Hyde, 30 mpg if you want and 1 mile per litre on a full thrust trackday attack. What a car.
here have a picture,

Not measured mine, but the first customer Paul fitted a switchable map for did a lot of continental trips and reports similar results to Nick. I need to my lean map tweaked on the rollers and then get testing.

A mate said the other day that "MPG is the new MPH" - Naturally I will never speak to him again, he's dead to me now.

I miss days like those.....

Good results though Nick and just shows what a well mapped Cerb can offer, mpg if needed and break neck speed when the opportunity arises.

Roll on FT2...

Last year I did 1600 miles to S of France. Motorway, Hard mountain road Driving, Town driving, and the petrol consumption came out at 23.6mpg overall - I was pleased with that.
