I could not find my ad until page one F***ing hundred and odd.

Now, I wouldn't be so annoyed but even when I run a filter search, or sort results by distance, it doesn't even bl00dy list my car at all.

WTF is happening? It's been over 7 days and nothing but hassles with trying to find my ad purposefully.

I wouldn't be annoyed if I was behind premium listings or newer adverts, but it's ridiculous that by searching by postcode (AB51) my ad doesn't even appear. AT ALL.

Nor does it appear when you search by advanced search at all. This is a joke.

I would upgrade my ad at £7 no problem, but when my standard ad won't even appear by filtering of distance and postcode, what wold be the point?????

I'd very much like an explanation as petrolheads used to be:

a) reliable
b) helpful

But this is just taking the biscuit to be very honest.

My ad should be showing up properly as it's meant to, wehter or not it's premium.

Not at page 100 odd.

What is the issue, please some one tell me, am running out of patience and won't upgrade until I can see the site is working as it SHOULD.

Yeah it is.

I wouldn't have been hacked off if it weren't for looking through 140 pages or something ridiculous!!!

First car I found... Depends on how you view the results of the search. If you sort by distance yours is the first car. If you just browse 3 Series cars it is on about page seven as the default search is by advert age.

It's working how PH adverts work.

Really?

I ran through it about 20 times today searching by distance normally and filtering in advanced search with various searches and couldn't find it at all.

Thnaks for checking all the same, I do appreciate it.

Hi Sarquhar,

Sorry to hear you are having problems, unfortunately 3-series is a very busy category which does make it difficult to find adverts without using the advanced search or the filter tool.

When I go into filter and search for cars within 10 miles of ab51 (sorted by distance) I get THIS

Your car is the eighth one down and the first one after the premium and old style adverts.

Were you clicking on the filter tab at the top, or were you just changing the order using the dropdown above the adverts?

Let me know and we will make sure it is sorted.

There appears to be two ads for it... One with part ex WHY and one Elise...

One ad is four hours old, one is one day. That the one?

Yeah your search works well, but when I used advance search (numerous times) I wasn't pulling up those results at all, I searched by titles, by post code etc as well, as I did gather with the large amount of cars it could depend on that.

Any how, thanks again for the assistance.

HRG,

Yes I did put it up twice as I thought there may have been an issue with my original posting at first so switched address and re-posted today (which did make it live instantly instead of pending).

Good to see a long standing member making suggestions and not flapping about a free service... OH WAIT!

It wasn't an unjustified flap, I had every reason to be writing some feedback, which is what the feedback is for.

I gave my reasons which were legitimate and I had tried many times to make sure it wasn't somethign I was doing (hence the re-post where I thought my initial post may have been problematic).

You'll also see I said "Thanks," after the assistance and not some smart @rsed remark.

So good to see another "old skool," member not being a cheeky so and so and instead helping out with a useful comment or suggestion in the first place.
