Nurburgring 10 -13th of August

Hi, is anyone going on these dates? My mate has pulled out and I'm going to be billy no mates.
So if anyone is there, and wants to say Hi or maybe go for a beer then fantastic.

I'm there from the 6th to the 10th so depending upon your time of arrival may well be around in the car park before I head off to the Chunnel. White MX5 with Northloop sticker on the offside wing. Will be there with friends in a BMW CSL and Audi RS4.

I was going to go on 9th and 10th of August but have not been before so a point in the right direction would be usefull. Is the track open to the public in sat and sun?

It's a busy weekend as there's the Old Timers Grand Prix on the GP circuit so you may have to ring around a bit to find accomodation - Michaela at the Blaue Ecke is very good at finding somewhere if you struggle. The Nordschleife is open 10:00 - 19:30 on the Saturday and 11:00 - 19:30 on the Sunday. Details at http://www.nuerburgring.de/events.10.0.html

Yes, we didn't choose the two cars known for their reliability did we? hahah!

We've both taken plenty of pre-caution so fingers crossed for a safe trip
