it has been discussed before, it was an attempt to sell an engine not a discussion

As Kyle said - pee was trying to flog an engine, not discuss the merits of the V10.

I'd warned him in another thread and asked him to stick it classifieds, which he did, but then came back to spam the forum with the ad - kind of defeats the object.

Linking to classifieds on the PH forum has always been a no-no. Given that pee has never posted on the Ultima forum before - that's a double no.

Sorry if you wanted to chat about V10s in general - but you can always just start another thread about them - just don't stick ads in it

Stig, What do you mean I have never posted on the ultima forum??? This is the only forum I have posted on! I have been a member since 2003. Even though I have been mostly a silent member I watch this forum closely.

As for putting links to things for sale it goes on all the time. I will admit to being blatant, but I am very sorry about this.

I am not after an argument, I just saw this as a great opportunity for somebody to create something great and as I said it is not financially viable for me to continue with the project.

Fair enough pee - I should have put 'infrequent poster'. Links to stuff do go up and alot pass by unmoderated (mostly because they don't get reported). But it's always been a no-no and it's the reason the classified exist.

Good luck with selling it. It would be a great engine in the Ult no doubt.
