Some 'joker' superglued paper to the car. This has left a patch of glue with a lovely furry paper finish. Does anyone have any experience on removing this?

you could try a strong tar and glue remover. this may work. if not perhaps wetsanding the area with 2000 grit then 3000 grit papers and then polishing back up. this would of course be dependant on the paint thickness of the paint surrounding and the effected area.

Or try a specialist superglue break-down product.

For example, Screwfix.com's product code: 39759

It's safe for use on skin, so subject to trying out on an inconspicuous part of your car's finish, very unlikely to harm modern paintwork. Safety pdf available on their website...

the screwfix remover worked well - polished the areas after - no sign of the glue or remover - car looks well - good call anatol - thanks
