Birthday present for Wife...any suggestions?

Hi all,

I am looking for watch for my wife's 30th birthday. She has shown a liking for the cartier tank model..but has also liked the classic lady's rolex models. I guess a rolex will hold more of its value and would be something she could pass on to future generations. What price would I be looking to pay (including discount) for a cartier tank at an official dealer?..Any other suggestions would be much appreciated..
