They look best in Lamborghini Yellow, There is only one of those out there, mind..... I think you can find the dimensions on the GTM website. They are about the width of an MGF, as they use the Steering rack, hubs brakes and wheels (sort of!). They are no bigger than an MGF I am sure.
Here you are:

and if you are going to spray it - choose your own colour, don't ask a load of half-wits like us for an opinion.

Black! Always black. Black is the best colour!
Beware the affect on sunlight on black fibregalss. My black Midas looked really great when I first got it. After a few years it started to develope a surface texture like very fine orange peel. It was not as bad as badly painted cars though. The following gave me a clue to what had happened.Europa Aircraft wbsite said:
Epoxy resins and foam are all sensitive to high temperatures. Room temperature curing epoxies soften and lose their strength and rigidity at only moderate temperatures -70°C (160°F). The sun is a source of heat, in still air on a hot sunny day it is possible to obtain surface temperatures that approach 105°C (220°F) on a black aircraft. The colour of the surface determines how much solar heat it will absorb. White surfaces absorb very little (10%) of the sun’s heat whilst a black surface absorbing much more (95%) will heat up greatly.
I believe the original prototype Midas had problems when travelling through France due to the heat affecting the bodywork.Stephen.GTM said:
what is best engine because i will be first time driver and i was thinking about a 1.4 or a 1.8
Impossible to say.Depending on your age even 1.4 might be a bit steep on insurance, only you can decide what you can afford. I'd also be VERY careful what you think you can handle with little driving experience. A 1.8 Libra won't suffer fools in the wet......
36 living in Manchester (rough up here init!)£285 inc breakdown with MSM ltd to 7000 miles.
If you are going to have black with graphite wheels I better hurry up and do my GT3 RS style orange bits! I have a spare set of wheels ready to go.
