However, EVOBarry took some pics a while back, which can be found on my server here:

Looks like an awesome road - some nice twists and turns, with good visibility.

Unfortunately, roads like that tend to be a bit too fast to be fun in the fiesta, more fun tends to be had where 50-60mph is pushing it...on a more open road, there's not enough power to be had unfortunately.

Anyways, it's a road to add to my list to go to once I've build my kitcar when I finish uni!!!

You're right, pwig. This is a glorious road, but often closed in winter due to snow etc. What happened to the pics? I was looking at them only yesterday, remembering a hairy moment I once had on the bend in pic 4.

Any chance you could make a longer one with the whole road at normal speed? I can host it if you like...... should be about 60megs tops yeah?

timbob - this road is very tight for the main, your shifting if you get above 60/70 for more than a few seconds tbh. It does need some grunt to extract the most fun, that old Prelude you see in the pics struggled in places simply due to lack of low down pulling power. Best cars would be small, agile, well damped, with grunty bottom end and good brakes!

I go up there a couple of times a month for a play, cracking road. It won't suffer fools gladly though, theres several places where you could leave the road and have plenty time to pray before landing on your roof etc, so please be wary if you do go up there.

Oh, and don't follow pwig over the Cat n Fiddle road, he's a nutcase on that road
