Discussion
I am just about to clinch a deal to be back in the financial game again, after a year out...I won't go in to why and wherefore etc but suffice to say i've had a s
tty 12 months..
anyway.
I am aware the mortgage market has changed (!) a little since I left, not too much as the credit crunch etc was ongoing when I extricated myself from the market and I still keep a close eye on happenings (sometimes extending to doing more than just reading mortgage solutions
) I wonder whether anyone on here can recommend me:
a) the current best AR firm
b) best packager (was mortgage times last time I looked!)
all help greatly appreciated, and I may just get p1ssed tonight to celebrate! no more bloody estate agency!
(although i've grown to quite like it..
)
tty 12 months.. anyway.

t. Just dfferent shades of s
t.Question b) see answer to question a.
Depends what you are looking for from your network. Every one of them is running scared of the FSA at the moment, which, as s
t rolls downhill, means that every AR I speak to is getting half arse compliance issues from non-commercial penpushers with little to offer except the ability to suspecnd membership.Packaging wise, why use one?

Hi Tom
I didn't know you'd ever left the market. I came out about 2 years ago (of the market, you wiseguys...)
I was getting tired of all the fall-throughs and insurance clawbacks then, I can only imagine what it's like now.
You still got your old client list? I've got a feeling that mine is still on my old laptop... I could have a look for you if you like. Nearly every mortgage I sold was an abbey 2 year fixed rate so that should be easy pickings
That's within the rules, right?
