Try putting yellow wedge into the members directory - I think that's one of the previous owners.
Welcome to wedge ownership - I'm sure you'll get a few more replies when people start surfacing from BBWF.
Think you are right - "yellow wedge" owned this for a bit. The car ran on black Tuscan-Racer OZs when I saw it last- the WET BBWF (?2005). Awesome looking (and sounding) wedge!Welcome to wedge ownership - I'm sure you'll get a few more replies when people start surfacing from BBWF.
Hello Steve
the car is indeed my or was my wedge, i had the car for about 2 years and the only reason i sold it was because of moving house and setting up a small buisness (at the same time
). The car was looked after by the TVR Centre while i owned it and had it,s last service less than 2 months ago, the car was hardly used over the winter months exersize miles only on nice bright chilly mornings
On the last m.o.t. it failed on the stearing U J and one of the rear ball joints which were both replaced i then took it to classic le-mans and it didn,t miss a beat in fact in the 2 years i've had it it's always got me home (unlike the griff or is that spelt grief) it really is a lovely wedge, it's not perfect mind but then how many of them are. It's a very individual looking wedge which is what i love about it, the engine is sound and pulls like a steam train and probably the only thing i would change would be to put modern suspension on it other than that it's a tight little car
Enjoy the car mate and Phil the guy your buying it from is a top bloke who won't mess you about
in fact he came to classic le -man with us so he knows the car well
Come to think of it i bought the car of him 2 years ago..!!!! ( it's very hot )
Scott
P.S. your neighbours are gonna hate you when you start that up on early mornings
