Wedgefest Thank-You
Discussion
I just wanted to post and say a big THANK YOU to the organisers that made this years wedgefest happen. Appologies in advance if I miss anyone but Steve, Jan, Darren, Angie, Stuart, Simon, Simon, Paul, Michelle ... and anyone else I have missed.
When your a visitor and everything runs so smoothly its all too easy to forget the amount of time people have put into organising such an event and all the work that people are doing behind the scenes - and for that, I thank you all
Once again, great weather (who do I thank for that?), a great turn out of cars. The hog roast was excellent
the run out was... lively
and lastly a great but somewhat wacky bunch of wedgers

Thanks again and 'till next year

cheers Lee, and the best of luck to you next weekend!
ps. are you sure I cannot tempt you to buy that bloody picture back at a knockdown price?
Cheers Simon.

As for the photo, bung it on ebay - some mug might bid you a tenner for it

I would add my thanks to Steve and the crew for their hard work and for organising a such great weekend - what an intro to Wedgedom!
A quick note to the man that encouraged me to buy a wedge and then promptly made me take it off the road for 6 weeks whilst we redid the suspension and many other bits - thanks for the work and support - it was worth it!
So this is what owning a wedge is all about then - LOVE IT!!

Thanks from me too - great organisation as ever, how you made the weather that good was a mystery - sacraficing a goat perhaps?
I think that is one of Steve's trade secrets, only to released on pain of death!

Echo all the complimentary words said so far...everything was spot on.
The whole event was well organised and professional, best one so far (for me anyway).
Only thing is i forgot all about the ride outs. Really wanted a blat in a 450 & SEAC..
Next time...
Thanks Steve, and Paul...impressive effort again, well done. Think an award for services to wedgedom is in order.
Cheers.

I would like to ditto what Lee said at the top
and appreciate the hard work that went into organising
another iconic Wedge Fest.
IMHO it is still the best event of the year with the best
people in the best cars.
I just don't know why I let my wife book our holiday
last year at the same time as BBWF2007.
See you all at BBWF 2009.
Well done Guys
Richard

BEST BBWF EVER !
I'd like to totally agree with all Lee said above .. really was a great event from beginning to end.
After last year I was having doubts the event might need a change - attendance down etc.. but this years was just superb. I think having the function room and the hog roast worked really well. Nice for me as an ex organiser to just relax and watch it all from the side lines and enjoy talking to fellow owners and poking around wedges...
Highlights from the many for me -
The cars, owners, runs out (S. Hogan 520SE and Combines SEAC), glorious sunshine, Hog roast, watching Beastie down 1/2 yard of ale, proping up the bar until late, seeing the hangovers the next day, making new friends, meeting old friends and finally the Sunday run through sleepy unsuspecting cotswolds villages like Bourton-on-the Water and Stow-on-the Wold..
Well done everyone who made it what it is

Yep as everyone else has said, a great big thank you to all that were involved in organising the weekend. Obviously a lot of hard work was put in, before and even during the weekend.

Great to see some familiar faces and to also make a lot of new friends.
Once again thanks to all the guys, girls and dogs for organising a fantastic weekend. I Haven't mentioned names but you all know who you are!
