This time I came back via Evesham as I had to gas up, and found this excellent bit of road:

Fish Hill

Two lanes going up the hill, speed limit 60 but advisory notices for 30 and 25! on two of the bends. Fantastic!

Not as windy as Bell Lane Inkpen, http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&ge...

but then I challenge anyone to get past 2nd gear on bell lane!!

It is officially britains windiest road it has more degrees of turn per mile than any other road in the UK. (the map does not do it justice believe me!)

Having said that the previous post does seem like a more fun road over all...

It does look pretty windy - but there's not much of a hill - Fish Hill is a double challenge - curves and a hillclimb, which sorts out the hot hatches from the real cars. I went past an Aston so fast it was like he was standing still...

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&ge... road running vertically from bell lane (down the page i.e. south) has a nice 1:6 on it now THAT is a chalenge to drive up. Most cars struggle to make 40mph up it. I've not ventured out there in Wedgeinald yet though.

But your road does look nice...might have to make a detour if I get that way?

Just noticed its not a million miles from Ettington? Might be an en-route idea if i get there at the weekendsmile

Hmm That looks like the same road used in the drive out on the Sunday (After Wedge Fest), to the Fleece Inn just out of Evesham.
